Text Box: shanonti and habobi were rescued from a market closed for demolition. in fact they were the last to leave the place. the bond between them is truly astonishing, i have had them for over a year now and not once did i see them sleeping apart or playing separately. their behavior goes beyond anything i have seen; for example, shanonti was sick one day and habobi would not eat or leave his side leading me to assume that he too was sick but after the vet took his temperature we realized he was merely worried. the two share everything even prized lizards caught in the outdoor enclosure. the details of their story can be found on the Best Friends Network site at: http://network.bestfriends.org/Blogs/PostDetail.aspx?bp=1408
