Friday - July 7th 2006 The cats thanks to your support are safe for the next three months. Basically after searching for a new location that meets the requirements for becoming a shelter and is within budget, it was concluded that renting only the second floor of the same house they are currently in is the most adequate choice for the time being. The owner of the house refused to rent the entire house despite our best efforts because he plans on giving at least the first floor to his relatives.
Much work needs to be done such as leveling the concrete floor, placing wire screens on the windows, and repairing the drainage. It is not as spacious as the current location but should suffice till the financial situation improves. The owner is constantly calling and rushing so it is really stressful right now.
It would not have been possible without your kindness. You and all your loved animals are in my prayers.
